US Marshal Tim Rackley is on the job to avenge the deaths of two of his colleagues who died when members of the Laughing Sinners motorcycle gang helped their leaders escape Ranger custody.

The bikers under arrest were being transported to trial for the gruesome murders of members of a rival motorcycle gang. The bikers, though crude and violent, are brilliant when it comes to crime, murder and getting away from the police. When the escaped men shoot a sheriff's deputy on patrol on a lonesome road one night, the deputy happens to be Rackley's eight-month pregnant wife.

Rackley's anger and angst are almost out of control. But he's known as the trouble shooter for a reason -- he remains cold and intent on this prey no matter what else happens. And he remains on as the leader of the task force.

More murders follow the biker gang's wake and Rackley and his men start to see a pattern that the gang is also kidnapping young overweight Mexican girls, but they can't figure out the reason why. When a drug connection also becomes apparent Rackley and his men go on overtime to recapture the murderous bikers.

TROUBLE SHOOTER is action-packed to the limit with guns blazing, physically and mentally repugnant bad guys outmaneuvering forthright, heart of gold, in love with their families and wives good guys. ItŐs closer to Hollywood blockbuster than to most murder mystery novels. Cerebral it's not as pipe bombs, gruesome torture and assorted firearms make up most of the storyline.

The biker gang and their willing female slaves are painted with the broadest brushstrokes while Rackley and his man fare a bit better as they are constantly fighting their sadness over felled buddies and family members, as they bear up under the pressures and problems to follow The Constitution when fighting monstrous criminals.

And when all of the violence between biker gangs and law enforcement is no longer exciting enough, then the cause of Homeland Security is invoked in the story along with an Al-Qaeda connection.

Fast-paced and created with the male action fan in mind, TROUBLE SHOOTER aims to please the action fan and leaves the deep thinkers behind. For a fast, fun read TROUBLE SHOOTER is on target.
