Robert was cheating on his wife. Then, Robert was dead. Matthew, Robert's brother, searches for the woman who was seen with Robert right before his death. He thinks that he has located her, but it is a mistaken identity. Mia Anderson, middle school teacher, has an estranged twin sister who has disappeared. When she realizes that she is mistaken for her sister, her life drastically changes.

There are a lot of strange circumstances that play out in this story. Norman, who has a crush on Mia, is following her. He seems to be around every corner and has become more than a nuisance. She isn't sure if Norman is only a pest or if he is a real threat to her well being. The life that Mia's sister, Margot, has chosen has become dangerous.

Matthew and Mia search for answers to the questions of who killed Robert and how Margot was involved? Sexual tension is present as the investigation continues. It becomes even more complex when there appears to be multiple murders. Mia and Matthew try to establish a link between these killings before another one occurs.

Both of the main characters have had pasts that contain berating and humiliating partners. Their trust of the opposite sex is not strong. They need to come up with a plan to answer all their questions, both to solve their mystery and to solve their personal romantic questions.

Janelle Taylor is an author of multitude of books.
