Crossword puzzle editor, Belle Graham and her P.I. husband Rosco Polycrates are once again the main characters in this book of five short stories written by husband and wife team, Nero Blanc.

Each story is set during the Christmas Holiday in five different locations.

On the tropical Island of St. Lucia, Belle and Rosco try to locate the treasure that Digger Bonnet stashed away before he died. With some help from Diggerıs parrot, along with one of Diggerıs friends and a crossword puzzle that Digger constructed, itıs clear to Belle just where the treasure is hidden.

In Montreal, the ghostly doings in the haunted Bed and Breakfast where the Belle and Rosco are staying, help two cousins understand what happened to their deceased grandfather and why he didnıt leave his daughters or granddaughters anything in his will. The answers are all in the crossword puzzle that Belle helps solve.

In Las Vegas, the couple is asked to help solve the mystery of a murdered, very wealthy, gambler. The gambler left his valuables to an animal shelter and no one knows where the hidden loot can be found. The duo discover who the manıs murderer is and the location of the valuables by solving a tricky crossword puzzle

Murder abounds as Belle and Rosco attend a crossword constructorıs convention at the Grand Canyon. One of the members was pushed off a cliff and no one knows why. That is of course until Belle, the queen of crossword puzzles, discovers the real reason.

Back in Massachusetts during a blizzard, a sewing circle group confides in each other as they decipher a crossword puzzle to discover the secret about a late heiress.

A CROSSWORDERıS GIFT is a great book for crossword puzzle lovers. It contains five puzzles that the reader solves in order to discover the secrets of each of the stories. This book isnıt so much a mystery, since the stories arenıt so mysterious, but it is great fun to try to solve the puzzles before Belle does. And if the puzzles are a little too hard for you the completed puzzles can be found in the back of the book -- just in case you want to take a quick peek.

Who says murder mysteries canıt be fun? Nero Blanc has once again given puzzle lovers everywhere a reason to sit up all night to read five delightful stories and solve some clever puzzles.
