Terry Saltz is having a rough time. After getting a little rowdy in a bar after getting drunk he has to serve some jail time. While in jail he loses his construction job, his wife, his doublewide trailer and his truck. Thing is he really misses that truck.

Terry is your everyday good old boy. He is 26 years old, 6 feet five inches tall and has long shaggy black hair and a habit of wearing worn out blue jeans and flannel shirts. After getting out of jail, and realizing he has no job he moves into an apartment with a friend.

He is unemployed until he wanders into Carlo's Pizza Place and fast-talks himself into a delivery job. Not long after joining the crew at Carlo's Terry begins to feel like they are his family. When someone kills one of the drivers Terry takes it personal.

Soon Terry, his friends and some of the crew at Carla's are playing detective and searching for a murder on their own and stumbling on more than they bargained for.

I loved this book. I had no idea I would even like it but the characters are so down to earth, so likable that I was sucked right in. I would like to work at Carlo's and have these wonderful guys behind me.
