Internet millionaire Gary Hopkins posts a tribute on his website to his much-loved friend and colleague Jayne Edmondes, who has been dead for eight years. This innocent act, though, unleashes a gory trail of violence, as a very much alive Jayne returns to the United Kingdom.

Beautiful, talented Jayne is looking for revenge and has her sights set on five members of the British intelligence services. Rabson has the germ of a plot idea and readers with a soft spot for Colin Forbesš thrillers may enjoy Jaynešs single-minded and relentless thirst for revenge, as well as her love of the good life.

However, Matadoršs non-existent production values do Rabson no favours whatsoever. There are some neat touches -- the Christians pursuing Jayne because they think shešs the Messiah, along with her feisty asides to the reader. But the book screams out for editing to knock the ambitious plot into some some sort of shape and to tidy up some decidedly eccentric grammar and punctuation.
