Prolific author Sidney Sheldon introduces his readers to the jet setting life and death of billionaire Henry Stanford and the impact he has made in other people's lives. He stole, cheated, plotted, connived, and killed to get all the way to the top of his business. In public, many, due to his contribution to worthwhile charity causes, adore him; in private, everyone feared him and hated his guts including his children and ex-wives. Stanford's net worth is over five billion dollars and his children believe they are entitled to it. After everything they went through as children through the verbal and psychological abuse by their father, they feel that they are entitled to some remuneration. When they discover that their father's love child is included in the will, the games begin. Why did it take so long for her to show up? What does she want? Readers will be pleased with the answers.

Even though the characters are flat stereotypes and the story moves like gangbusters, MORNING, NOON & NIGHT is a pleasant surprise. At times, the story is a bit predictable, but then the author adds some unexpected twists that make this book a worthwhile read. The writing is easy to understand, the plotting moves at a quick speed, and the ending brings one of the biggest comeuppance you can find today. The good guys win, bad guys lose, love prevails, and everyone creates a new possibility where everyone lives happily ever after. For a quick and enjoyable one-day read, try a Sidney Sheldon novel. Fast food for the reading public.
