Olivia believes he is their lost son who vanished twelve years ago. Four year old Timmy Cable was walking on the beach with his father. When Jack took his eyes off the boy, Timmy vanished. His body was never found. Laura must determine where the truth lies; whether to believe Liam's story or the facts she uncovers. This is a superbly plotted story with he story unfolding little by little with the suspense ebbing and flowing. The characters are developed in depth, giving understanding and sympathy to he tragic events of the bereaved couple. There are unexpected twists to the story which leave the reader in doubt until the end. This is a quick read, and a thoroughly enjoyable one.
