My goodness. If you want high tension, relentless pace and good writing, here's a piece of crime fiction for you. With a twist, and it isn't lemon. A woman named Amanda Pierce has stolen a highly toxic, extremely dangerous chemical weapon from the U.S. government. She's planning to sell it so she can retire. The FBI is onto her and is tracking her movements south through California to Lo Angeles. They want to identify her contact and retrieve the stolen chemical.

Meanwhile, FBI agent Tess McCallum has been called from her Denver office to assist the L.A. FBI office in its intensifying hunt for a really nasty serial killer who calls himself Mobius. McCallum has encountered this killer before and she's something of an expert on the man. In spite of many misgivings on all sides, she's trying to do her duty and capture Mobius. Will these two investigations intersect? You got it!

This is an extremely well-written thriller and it just about never lets up. The characters seem real, the surprises and twists, and there are some diabolical ones, are well-rooted in the fabric of the story. This is a gripping novel, and if occasionally things go just a little over the top, well, this is fiction after all. If you like to be scared, this one is highly recommended.
