After eight years of catering, Madeline Bean and her partner, Wesley, sold their business. A pending lawsuit temporarily slows them but they concentrate on creating events instead of catering. And create events they do, finding themselves in the midst of a wedding, a murder, some jewels by

the name of emeralds and twenty some year old secrets! With Madeline Bean, you will not be short changed of a joyful experience and an eventful cast of characters.

A one of a kind character, Vivian Duncan, comes to Madeline with an offer to sell her wedding business. Vivian is wedding consultant extraordinaire, with recommendations of being the finest in her business. Surprised to be invited as Vivian's guest, Maddie attends a posh wedding held at the museum. A young

couple, Sara and Brent, have just exchanged vows and then a murder occurs.

If you have not read any of Jerrilyn Farmer's catering mysteries, you are in for a treat. Name dropping in Beverly Hills contributes to the pleasure and the reader ponders who the next mentioned celebrity might be. Humor and conversation between Madeline and Wes are prime. Their chemistry is easy and

sharp; I can't really describe it, you just need to experience it for yourself.

While Maddie attempts to sleuth this case, she is also balancing her love life with three interested parties. Arlo is her previous boyfriend, Chuck Honnett - Police Detective from Homicide is very sexy and Zelli is an expert in the jewelry business, making him a more than interesting date.

Immaculate Reception and Sympathy for the Devil precede Killer Wedding in the Madeline Bean catering mystery series.
