Carly¼s Ghost is way too short! I wanted more!

Carly Baillie, a 12 year old, has just moved into an old mountain cabin with her parents and her older sister, Jackie. Being tortured by her older sister goes with the territory of being the kid sister. But when mysterious footsteps, slamming doors and cold drafts plague Carly¼s room, Jackie is convenienced it is Carly¼s way of getting back at her.

Carly thinks her new home is haunted and she is determined to find out by whom. But she will need to do it by herself, everyone else thinks it is just Carly¼s ghost.

This is a great read for yourself or your kids. My 10 year old loved it as much as I and read it just as fast. The disappointment is that the story is just getting good when it ends.

The story is spun through the eyes of a 12 year old and the awkwardness that comes with moving to a new place. Although the main character is young, you can feel for her and you are reminded of those same times of youth. When you are not yet old but not young either.

My son and I hope Peggy Tibbetts plans on having some more fun with chasing ghosts in the quaint town of Steamboat Springs. We will both be looking forward to more not-so-spooky ghost hunts.
