This fast-paced, super-exciting novel features CIA operatives and ex-Green Berets Daniel Crosswhite and Chance Vaught in a supercharged attempt to get to the bottom of the assassination of an American diplomat on the street in Mexico City by an unknown assassin.

Meanwhile, back in Europe, super-hero of the three previous Sniper Elite novels, CIA operative and ex-Navy SEAL Gill Shannon is assigned to assassinate a Swiss banker who has been funneling money to Islamic terrorists. His boss at the CIA, Robert Pope, sends Shannon into the Alps with a sniper rifle.

Things do not work out as planned on either continent but nothing stops these superheroes, not snipers, RPGs or small armies of narcotraffickers. When their boss goes rogue, sending another rogue to assassinate them, things get stickier and stickier. The time has come for Crosswhite and Vaught to align themselves with one of the narcotraffickers, since neither the American or Mexican government will protect them.

Enter Agent Mariana Mederos. Everyone is rogue now and our three operatives make a deal with the most palatable of the drug lords. The action gets more and more exciting, and it is to the credit of the two authors of GHOST SNIPER that the reader is kept in the loop so that we can follow this bone-chilling action.

Of course, there is still the Ghost Sniper, who finally appears to save our agents' bacon. Followers of this series will know who that is but let's leave this as a surprise for the new reader.

This book is not very politically correct, but if you can suspend your moral judgments until the end, you are in for the ride of your life. If I needed protection in a world where there is no one you can trust, I would put my faith in these super elite warriors.
